The season is complete and many of the state’s top Class of 2012 girls’ have already signed with a college.

It’s a solid – not great – class for the state of Kentucky with several players who could make a major impact next season at the Division I level. What this class lacks is super depth.

But it still wasn’t easy to rank the class. Here’s my last stab at ranking the seniors in the state of Kentucky for this past season.

Here’s the top 25:

• 1. Sydney Moss, Boone County, 5-11: The Florida signee is the daughter of NFL wide receiver Randy Moss and should get Miss Basketball honors.

• 2. April Wilson, Manual, 5-8: The Purdue signee led Manual to the state title as a senior. The Lady Crimsons would have won two in a row had she not been injured.

• 3. Jasmine Whitfield, South Oldham, 5-10 – The Cincinnati signee proved she was a lot better than most folks expected.

• 4. Jenna Crittendon, Ryle, 5-10: The Xavier commitment is state’s most versatile player.

5. Kara Wright, Manual, 5-10 – The SE Missouri State signee was so good in the postseason. Helped the Lady Crimsons to the title.

6. Kendall Noble, Perry County Central, 5-10: Unsigned player had a solid season, including several triple-doubles. She could be a sleeper for some college.

• 7. Bre Elder, Marion County, 5-9: The Dayton signee was such a key piece of Marion County team that won three consecutive Fifth Region titles.

• 8. Micah Jones, Green County, 5-8 – New WKU coach Michelle Clark-Heard will like what she’s getting in Jones.

• 9. LeAsia Wright, Manual, 5-7 – Another unsigned senior, she’s the real deal. Someone will land a steal this late in the game.

• 10. Megan Pittman, Casey County, 5-11  – Coastal Carolina signee has had knee troubles but is a solid player.

• 11.  Rianna Gayheart, Owen County, 5-7 (Northern Kentucky)

• 12. Christy Soldo, Hopkinsville, 6-0 (Murray State)

• 13. Ashli Mayes, Franklin County, 5-10 (Samford)

• 14. Caylon Bybee, 6-1, Monroe County

• 15. Haley Armstrong, Murray, 5-8

• 16. Peyton Hisel, Tates Creek, 6-1 (Jacksonville State)

• 17. Lindsey Burd, Hart County, 5-11 (Campbellsville)

• 16. Christine Roush, Mercy, 5-10 (Northern Kentucky)

• 17. Sarah Martin, Daviess County, 6-1

• 18. Kristin Jacob, Lexington Christian, 6-1

• 19. Haley Perkins, Glasgow, 5-9

• 20. Jamie Cummings, Barren County, 5-11

• 21. Sydney Brown, Anderson County, 6-1 (Jacksonville State)

• 22. Kelsea Wilson, Grayson County, 5-11 (Brescia)

• 23. Christine Roush, Mercy, 5-11 (Northern Kentucky)

• 24. Taylor Stricklen, Bracken County, 6-1
